A resident of Ohio with a passion for golf, Peter Starr attended Baldwin Wallace University in Berea, majoring in criminal justice. Also minoring in political science, he had the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C., and attend the National Youth Leadership Forum on National Security. Peter Starr was also active in a number of collegiate sports in Ohio, including intramural basketball, football, and weight lifting.

Mr. Starr’s athletic activity began in elementary school and he played softball each summer, as well as basketball each winter, through high school. He also enjoyed flag football and soccer at school during the autumn months. An avid skier and snowboarder, he has had the opportunity to visit numerous ski resorts, from Utah to New York’s Holiday Valley.

Mr. Starr’s golfing activities have taken him to locales such as Fox Meadows Country Club and Grand Cypress in Orlando, and he has attended PGA Tour events at the Firestone Country Club in Akron. Highlights of these events included meeting stars such as Jack Nicklaus and Phil Mickelson and obtaining their autographs. Competitive high points of Mr. Starr’s golf career include scoring a 78 at the 21st Annual Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing at Columbia Hills Country Club in 2007.
