Representing clients as an attorney in a range of employment law and criminal defense cases, Philip Villaume comes from a family of legal professionals. Prior to completing his JD at the Hamline University School of Law, attorney Philip Villaume was a probation officer in Ramsey County, Minnesota, and gained experience in the legal system from a law enforcement perspective.

Mr. Villaume’s spectrum of legal experience includes civil rights, appeals, and claims related to social security and disability. In every case taken on, he treats clients with dignity while seeking to expeditiously get them back to their normal lives. He handles cases centered on assisting licensed professionals facing misconduct allegations from licensing boards and other entities. This spans legal areas such as civil litigation, licensure violation, employment suspension or termination, and criminal charges.

Mr. Villaume maintains a strong presence in his legal community and has held appointed responsibilities on the Minnesota Judicial Merit Selection Commission. He has also earned recognition from the American Academy of Trial Lawyers as among the Premier 100 Trial Lawyers in Minnesota. He maintains qualifications to argue before the Minnesota and Wisconsin Supreme Courts, as well as the US Supreme Court.
