A longtime Oregon resident, Phillip Pahlisch graduated from West Linn High School before leaving the state to study construction management at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. He subsequently returned to Oregon, joining the family construction business in Bend. Phillip Pahlisch went on to serve 17 years with this company, completing homebuilding projects throughout northwest Oregon and southwest Washington state.

During his final four years with Pahlisch Homes, he oversaw large-scale operations as a senior regional vice president and owner. His accomplishments with the family business include earning Natural Street of Dreams designations in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015.

Phillip Pahlisch has owned and operated Legacy Built in the Portland suburb of Lake Oswego since December of 2016. He earned his fifth NW Natural Street of Dreams honor in 2018. Under his direction, Legacy Built constructs new custom-designed homes with a specific focus on energy efficient and environmentally responsible building processes and features.
