A partner with the law firm of Cooper Erving & Savage, Phillip Steck has more than 25 years of experience in employment law and civil rights law. In addition to his work at the law firm, Phillip Steck is an elected member of the New York State Assembly, where he represents parts of Albany and Schenectady counties.
Mr. Steck holds a bachelor of arts in government from Harvard College, where he was a staff writer on the Harvard International Review and a member of the board of directors of the Harvard International Relations Council. While pursuing a juris doctor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, he participated in the National Moot Court Competition and served as an editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review.
In his work as an attorney, Mr. Steck has appeared before the New York State Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and all the Federal District Courts in New York State.
