Located in Dallas, Texas, the POTS Treatment Center is led by a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals committed to improving the lives of individuals living with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), a condition caused by an autonomic nervous system dysfunction known as dysautonomia. After an extensive patient history review, the POTS Treatment Center team collaborates on personalized treatment plans that address the whole person, including potential problem areas beyond the disorder itself. Patients are generally tested for the syndrome using the tilt table test, which helps doctors identify the blood pressure changes and heart rate increase (known as tachycardia) associated with the disorder. To learn more about care and treatment options, including an eight-day program for out of town patients, or to read reviews of the center, please visit www.potstreatmentcenter.com.
The center is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Autonomic Society, the American Association of Pathologists and Bacteriologists (AAPB), and the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA).
