A veteran of the telecommunications industry with more than 25 years of experience, Rand Currier has served as the COO and senior vice president of operations with Granite Telecommunications in Quincy, Massachusetts for more than 15 years. Under his leadership, he has helped shape the company’s growth from a small business with no employees to an industry leader posting more than a billion dollars in annual revenue. As one of the country’s fastest growing private companies for 10 years in a row, Granite quickly established itself as a leader in the telecommunications industry by becoming the one-stop-shop for the communications needs of North America’s largest enterprises, including more than 85 of the Fortune 100 companies.
Prior to entering the workforce, Mr. Currier earned a master of business administration from American University in Washington, DC. From there, he worked with Sprint and other large telecommunications carriers before eventually cofounding Granite and assuming the role of COO. A proponent of philanthropy, his staff coordinates numerous fundraisers each year, chief among them being “Saving by Shaving,” which raised $5,000,000 for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in 2017. Granite has donated over $39,000,000 to hundreds of charities over the years.
