An extensively trained business leader, Ranjeet Reddy Paladugu received a bachelor’s degree in engineering at Osmania University in Hyderabad, India, before moving to the United States to earn a master’s degree in engineering at Old Dominion University. He supplemented his engineering education by subsequently enrolling at Cornell University, where he completed an MBA at the university’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. Ranjeet Reddy Paladugu has also completed postgraduate training in business excellence at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Mr. Paladagu draws upon this training in his role as the founder and CEO of Specialty Holdings, an investment firm that helps clients maximize their business potential through operational excellence. Previously, he spent more than a decade in various leadership roles with international cosmetics firm L’Oreal, including serving as vice president of finance for the company’s Urban Decay brand, which is responsible for over $1 billion in sales annually.
Mr. Paladagu held financial executive positions with Avaya and Qwest Communications prior to joining L’Oreal. Throughout his long career, he has gained experience with a wide range of operational and financial functions, including mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, and investor relations. Outside of his professional life, he pursues a diverse range of hobbies that includes flying single-engine aircraft and hiking.
