As lead consultant and CEO of Responding to Challenges Consulting, LLC, Renee T. Willis assists clients by closing achievement gaps and enhancing the academic performance of African-American students. Her background in education includes a period as chief strategic implementation officer and chief transformation officer with the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Over her tenure, Renee T. Willis, who also goes by Renee Cavor, served as a member of the Senior Executive Cabinet and worked in partnership with outside consultants and community organizations.

Before beginning her career, Renee Cavor enrolled at Spelman College, in Atlanta, where she earned her bachelor of science in mathematics. Following that, she secured her master of arts in education administration from Baldwin Wallace University, in Berea, Ohio. Recently, Cleveland State University awarded her a doctorate in urban education. Her dissertation is titled "The Effect of a Dropout Prevention Program for Black High School Males in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District."

Renee T. Willis belongs to several professional organizations, including the Buckeye Association of School Administrators and the National Alliance of Black School Educators.
