A senior pastor with extensive theological experience, Reverend Ronald Beauchamp is a bi-vocational senior pastor at Bethel New Life Church in Illinois. For close to two decades, he has served the Bethel/New Hope ministry in various pastoral capacities. Reverend Ronald Beauchamp has previously been affiliated with New Hope Baptist Church, Bethel Bible Church, and Bethel Green M.B. Church. Some of his responsibilities have comprised preparing sermons, teaching bible study, and providing prayer and counseling services, as well as administering Holy Communion. Prior to Bethel New Life Church, he worked as an associate professor at Elmhurst University and taught intercultural studies.
Additionally, Dr. Beauchamp formerly functioned as the president of the Congress of Christian Education for the Progressive Baptist State Convention. He also served as the associate director of admissions at Northern Baptist Theological Seminary (Northern Seminary), where he planned student activities such as orientations and social events. Earlier in his career, Reverend Ronald Beauchamp worked as the university chaplain for Aurora University.
Complementing his pastoral roles, Dr. Beauchamp is studying for a doctor of philosophy with concentrations in intercultural and interfaith studies at Chicago Theological Seminary. Other educational qualifications that he has include a doctor of education with concentrations in higher education and organizational change from Benedictine University and a doctor of ministry with concentrations in applied theology and pastoral counseling from Northern Seminary.
