As a member of the Board of Directors of the large Colombian petroleum engineering services provider Mecor Colombia, Ricardo Rausseo spearheads and supports the development of company commercial strategies based upon technical reports from staff engineers. Before accepting this position in 2008, Ricardo Rausseo served in a series of senior administrative capacities with major petroleum engineering companies in his native Venezuela, including seven years as the president and a member of the Board of Aimvenca and five years as a vice president of CAT Venezuela.
Mr. Rausseo’s areas of expertise range from teambuilding and negotiation techniques to the financial modeling of industrial projects. To aid in his various operational and leadership activities, he draws upon his comprehensive knowledge of the regulations and guidelines of relevant industry organizations such as the American Petroleum Institute and the American National Standards Institute.
A boating enthusiast, Mr. Rausseo enjoys saltwater fishing when not dispatching his professional obligations. He is also an avid skier.
