An experienced fine art professional, Richard Kolosky studied finance at the University of Florida in Gainesville before going on to serve more than a decade as a manager in the automotive sales industry. He entered the world of blue chip artwork sales in 2009 as a partner in the Beverly Hills Art Exchange in Beverly Hills, California. While still employed by the Beverly Hills Art Exchange, Mr. Kolosky joined the Montgomery Gallery in San Francisco, California, as senior vice president. Over the course of his three years with Montgomery, he performed a wide range of acquisition, sales, marketing, accounting, and senior administrative functions.
Since 2016, Richard Kolosky has handled a similar range of responsibilities as the president of San Francisco’s Townsend Fine Art. Under his direction, this high-end art gallery deals in a broad spectrum of important post-war and contemporary art.
