An accomplished business executive with extensive corporate turnaround experience, Richard McCorry serves as the president of Production Spring in Troy, Michigan. In this position, he guides a manufacturing firm that provides engineered fasteners, precision stampings, and other parts to the global automotive industry. Since joining the Michigan company, Richard McCorry has implemented new market-based strategies as well as lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase revenue.
Prior to joining Production Spring, Mr. McCorry held a number of leadership positions with prominent companies in the transportation, manufacturing, and private equity fields, including serving as Senior Vice President of Operations for Global Titanium and the President and CEO of the Fabricated Products Group for H.C. Starck, Inc. As President and CEO of GKN Sinter Metals, he led a complete restructuring of the company that led to the firm’s first North American profit in over five years.
In addition to his work with Production Spring, Mr. McCorry serves on the board of directors for Formae, LLC, a medical implant company specializing in cartilage replacements and arthroscopic instruments. The recipient of a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Engineering from Drexel University, he has also completed executive training at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
