An experienced real estate agent in Jupiter, Florida, Richard Zona Jr earned his bachelor's degree in finance (cum laude) from the University of Massachusetts, where he also served as president of the finance club. He also completed an associate's degree in real estate at the Berkshire Hathaway/Chamberlin Real Estate School in Laguna Beach, California. During his first 2 years in real estate working for Berkshire Hathaway, Richard Zona Jr was named Realtor of the Year.

While in Laguna Beach, Mr. Zona launched the Flower Exchange, a retail flower shop that grew from one to nine locations. He also established his own real estate firm known as Main Beach Realty. He subsequently moved to Florida, where he founded Rocky Mt. Water, which he expanded to include 1,600 accounts. In 2018, he accepted his current position with Illustrated Properties in Palm Beach Gardens, where he guides clients in the sale and rental of a diverse range of luxury real estate. And through local churches he has worked with young, parentless children who have experienced abuse, and also served as a small group leader.
