Rita O’Malley served as a Woodbridge School District educational learning consultant from 2000 to 2015. A core focus for Rita O’Malley was on enabling students who faced academic and social/emotional difficulties to receive an education appropriate to their level and needs, and achieve success in school. She has worked closely with special education and general students ranging from preschool to high school age.

Ms. O’Malley undertook her doctoral studies in Arizona at Northcentral University, and is working on completing her EdD in 2020 with honors. Her areas of specialized research included autism, learning disabilities, school place bullying, and traumatic brain injury. She also undertook a dissertation in workplace bullying, having suffered from workplace bullying in the past herself. Workplace bullying has reached epidemic levels nationwide, and Ms. O’Malley is a stalwart advocate of efforts to legislate workplace laws against a social condition that terrorizes victims at workplaces in this country and worldwide.

Rita O’Malley maintains a longstanding commitment to volunteerism and works with the National Centre for Padre Pio in the USA, a spirituality focused nonprofit that gives people emotional support in times of need.
