Having earned an advanced degree in physical medicine and rehabilitation from UT Health San Antonio, Robert Windsor, MD, began his career in Atlanta with Southern Back & Orthopedics, PC, in 1989. Shortly afterward, he served as president of the practice, Sunbelt Spine & Sports Medicine, PC. He went on to serve as president of Georgia Spine & Sports Physicians, PC. Afterward, he held the role of president at Georgia Pain Physicians, PC.
The practice that Dr. Windsor founded in 1990 ultimately became one of the country’s most highly respected and biggest pain management companies. Moreover, he founded a fellowship that made possible the training of over 100 physicians over a 25 year period.
