As an investor and entrepreneur active in Israel, I'm a results-focused leader with strong execution skills in strategy building and corporate development activities as well as operational skills across range of skill sets.

I am a founding or direct investor in 15 early stage companies and an LP in 4 early-stage VC funds in Israel, Czech Republic and the US. I provide active assistance to a select number of portfolio companies in general business strategy, product development, finance & operations, business development, capital raising and M&A.

Experience includes:

-- Managing Partner of Benson Oak Capital, focusing on VC and PE investments in the Czech and Slovak Republics since 2001, and Israel since 2012. Also managed Benson Oak’s corporate finance business which advised on over $6 billion in debt and equity capital transactions.

-- Led 100% buyout of AVG in 2004, and in addition to various operational roles, I served as Shareholder rep and Board member until its IPO on NYSE in February 2012. Returned over 100X to investors.

-- From February 2011 until June 2012, I served on senior management team in the role of Head of Corporate Development responsible for the execution and integration of five strategic acquisitions in the US, Israel and Germany. I also spearheaded corporate strategic planning and development.

-- Israel. Since I moved to Israel in August 2012, Benson Oak Capital has deployed about $20M in including Slidely and Spitball. Focus is on consumer and SMB sectors while providing active assistance to portfolio companies.

-- Slidely. Im currently active in an operational role as Executive Chairman of Slidely, a visual creation platform. 60M Slidelys have been created on its UGC platform since 2012. Its new business product PROMO (slide.ly/promo) allows anyone to create quality marketing videos instantly and is generating significant revenue just a few months since launch.

-- I serve as Board Member or Advisor to a number of other portfolio and angel investments including Spitball (EdTech / Israel), SaferPass (Cybersecurity / Slovakia), Harri (Talent Solutions / NYC), Klik (Online Insurance / Czech), Corkscrew (Smart Wine App / UK).

I have a Master's Degree in International Affairs from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Bachelor's Degree from the University Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business.
