Rodolfo “Rudy” Sablon has served as The Motivational Edge’s director of operations and social enterprise since 2008. With the nonprofit youth development organization, Rudy Sablon works with at-risk youth and helps them build essential life skills.

Working alongside the Department of Juvenile Justice, among other agencies and groups, he uses the arts to inspire young people toward academic achievement. In the role, he uses his strategic and transformational leadership skills to further the mission of the agency.

A recipient of Weld County’s Outstanding Commitment to Greeley Youth Services accolade, Rudy Sablon has also earned the Chapman Partnership for the Homeless Community Service Award. Outside of The Motivational Edge, he is involved in the Miami Sports and Exhibition Authority and the Heavy Legacy Foundation, among other organizations, where he sits on the board of directors. Mr. Sablon also sit as a grant panelist for the Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs.

From the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mr. Sablon pivoted his focus to crisis management and providing essential services to South Florida’s most vulnerable youth. These youth served from local foster care agencies and have been identified as having a mental health and/or substance abuse disorders and are in current danger of: failing grades; reoffending; being Baker-Act; displacement and/or becoming homeless. Mr. Sablon and his agency have been entrusted with providing thousands of healthy hot meals, emergency sheltering & supervision, social-emotional care, educational assistance, and other stabilizing services.
