An accomplished executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience, Russ McMeekin serves as CEO of San Francisco-based Universal mCloud Corp., a company specializing in using the latest in data analytics and other technologies to maximize the performance of energy assets. Prior to this role, Russ McMeekin spent four years with Energy Knowledge as partner and chairman, where he oversaw the company’s acquisition of KBC Technologies, a $250 million transaction.

Prior to beginning his career, he earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology from Sault College. As part of his continuing education, he has completed advanced leadership courses at the Harvard Business School and the Stanford School of Law. Apart from work, Russ McMeekin enjoys ocean life, whether sailing on top of the water or diving beneath it. One of his most treasured memories is ringing in the new millennium by watching the first sunrise of the year 2000 during a sailing voyage around New Zealand.
