While attending Davidson College in the late 1990s/early 2000s, Ryan Stroker started all four years on the Division I varsity baseball team and spent a great deal of time on the mound as a left-handed pitcher. In the classroom, he studied political science. Before graduating with his bachelor’s degree, Ryan Stroker served a tenure as president of the Davidson Student Athletic Advisory Committee.

Mr. Stroker subsequently found employment with several large financial institutions including Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, and the Royal Bank of Scotland. He has served as a partner and managing director with Amherst Holdings since 2010.

Ryan Stroker joined the New York City offices of this Austin-headquartered national real estate investment and advisory firm focusing on structured product. He saw the institutional demand for the Single Family Rental asset class and took on a role to spearheaded national acquisitions in the Amherst Residential division of Amherst Holdings.
