Serving the needs of patients across Greater New York, Samuel Bride, MD, oversees a pair of UMD Urgent Care facilities in Long Island City and Williamsburg. Dr. Samuel Bride’s experience includes work as a vascular surgery Fellow at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn from 2012 to 2013.
Dr. Bride subsequently practiced as locum tenens surgeon at the Community HealthCare Center in South Hill, Virginia, and the Grove City Medical Center in Pennsylvania. He has also provided volunteer service at the Lamtoro Medical Clinic associated with Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital in Kololi, Gambia, and the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan.
Upon entering the medical field in 1997, Dr. Samuel Bride functioned as a research assistant in the Department of Urology/Surgery of Children’s Hospital Boston (now Boston Children’s Hospital). He presented at the American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference on the urology topic “Vesicoureteral reflux dysregulates the renin-angiotensin system in the fetal sheep kidney.”
An alumnus of the Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Bride served as the secretary of the Clinical Neuroscience Society while studying for his MD.
