Sarah Alicia Moya Machado has more than 15 years of comprehensive experience as a senior analyst and manager in the international oil industry, during which time she has gained considerable insight into government relations and strategic and corporate affairs. Sarah Alicia Moya Machado began her career as a technical assistant within a governmental energy department.

More recently, she spent seven years in the position of country manager with a major natural gas services provider. In this role, her responsibilities ranged from managing the company’s financial strategy to handling matters of environmental compliance.

A political science graduate of Sorbonne University in Paris, Ms. Machado is a member of industry organizations such as the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN). She also attends important oil-industry conferences and meetings around the world, including the International Petroleum Summit. She completed an exploration and production negotiations course with the CWC School for Energy in London and a senior management course in negotiations at Universidad de los Andes.
