Scott Adubato’s career in coaching dates back to 1988, when he became an assistant coach of the basketball team at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Scott Adubato went on to hold assistant coaching positions at a variety of institutions of higher learning including the University of Nevada Las Vegas and Georgia State University in Atlanta.
In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Scott Adubato took leadership positions as an associate head coach of professional teams, such as the Atlanta Trojans and the San Diego Stingrays. In the mid-2010s, he served as head coach of the Vaqueros professional basketball club in Mexico as well as head coach and general manager of the Miami Stars in Davie, Florida. He has also performed assistant coaching and scouting duties for the Los Angeles Clippers, the Memphis Grizzlies, and the Orlando Magic.
Since 2014, Mr. Adubato has headed the Triple Threat Basketball Academy in Memphis, Tennessee. His work with Triple Threat revolves around providing team and one-on-one coaching sessions to players of all skill and training levels.
