The recipient of a bachelor's in psychology from Vanderbilt University and a master of business administration from Boston College's Carroll Graduate School of Management, Scott Bushley began his career as a sales and operations assistant at Deutsche Bank Securities before working as an analyst with Sunflower Capital Partners and Atlantic Trust. With Atlantic Trust, Scott Bushley worked in the alternative investments division and was responsible for interviewing portfolio managers and general partners to assess their investment strategies and track records. In 2007, Scott Bushley was hired by BNY Mellon Investment Management to serve as its vice president of strategic business development. He held this position for six years, during which time he played a key role in facilitating the acquisition of Siguler Guff & Company and BNY Mellon ARX and achieved selection to the inaugural class of the Asset Management Leadership Program. In 2013, Mr. Bushley received a promotion to the role of director of operations for global distribution and he most recently served BNY as head of business operations. Scott Bushley is now a partner overseeing finance and business operations at Boston-based hedge fund Granite Point Capital. When not working, Mr. Bushley enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling, and spending time with his three children.
