While studying risk management and insurance at the University of Georgia in Athens (UGA), Scott G. Sink held memberships in the Terry College of Business Insurance Society and Gamma Iota Sigma honors fraternity, and he earned recognition as the 1983 Outstanding Student of the Year. After earning his bachelor of business administration degree in 1984, he embarked on a career in insurance that now spans nearly 35 years. Highlights of Scott G. Sink’s career include tenures as an insurance analyst with Virginia Power in Richmond, Virginia, and as account manager/vice president with Alexander & Alexander in Baltimore, Maryland.
For the past 24 years, Scott G. Sink has overseen the placement and service of energy division property and casualty coverage as a senior executive vice president with the Birmingham, Alabama-based insurance brokerage McGriff, Seibels & Williams. To augment his professional activities, Mr. Sink attends the annual conferences of the Risk and Insurance Management Society, AEGIS, and Energy Insurance Mutual. In 2012, he received a “Risk Management and Insurance Alumnus of the Year” designation from his alma mater, UGA.
