With more than 15 years of New York medical device sales experience, Scott Shekitka has worked for leading companies such as Stryker and Zimmer Biomet. In his present position with Medtronic as a sales manager, Scott Shekitka strives to increase market share and oversees strategies that effectively deliver new products to target consumers.
Mr. Shekitka has extensive training and coaching knowledge and has worked to bring corporate teams to peak performance. He effectively coordinates cold calling activities and has experience in facilitating significant capital transactions. Among the accolades he has achieved across his career are Rookie of the Year and President’s Club member.
Mr. Shekitka gained early experience as an account manager with Ikon Legal Document Service. Working with corporate legal departments and practices in midtown Manhattan, he consulted on document production pathways. Subsequently working in sales with Stryker CMF, he coordinated orders with medical facilities’ physicians, operating room staff, and purchasing directors. Through the process of equipment acquisition, Scott Shekitka enabled institutions to significantly boost the quality and efficiency of care provided.
