Mr. Severson also served 3 years as managing director of cleantech, industrial growth, and energy practice with the Blueshirt Group. After establishing the Blueshirt Group practice in 2013, he developed it into a significant industry player in a relatively short period of time, securing four lucrative clients within 8 months.

Outside of the professional arena, Shawn Severson is an avid outdoorsman who counts hiking and mountaineering among his favorite hobbies. He also enjoys water-based activities such as paddle boarding and scuba diving.
