A leader in the Minnesota construction industry, Sidney “Sid” Elyea holds a bachelor of science in business management from Cardinal Stritch University in Edina and a diploma in architectural construction technology from St. Cloud Technical College. Over his career, Sidney Elyea has overseen a broad spectrum of commercial construction projects around the United States in positions that include superintendent with TerWisscha Construction, independent construction manager with Transform Design, and project manager with Division21, Inc. His accomplishments range from overseeing the remodel of 40 Life Time Fitness club locations to the ground-up development of a 70-unit condominium complex.
Since 2016, Sid Elyea has spearheaded commercial building projects throughout the upper Midwest as a manager with RJ Ryan Construction, Inc., in Mendota Heights, where he handles tasks from initial bidding to final completion. Projects in Minnesota have included a 40,000-square-foot facility for electric-tools and -equipment supplier Viking Electric Supply, Inc., and a 48,000-square-foot transfer station for the trucking company Globus Transport Inc.
