Based in New York, Sion Palacci is an accomplished entrepreneur, having founded his first business in 1980, a transportation company called Dave's Trucking. During the five years that he operated this business, Sion was responsible for the recruitment and management of drivers while also regularly liaising with clients.

In addition, he incorporated the Sionson real estate management firm in 1989, which he continues to operate. At this organization he is responsible for the purchase and financing of rental apartments as well as the marketing, leasing, and maintenance of these apartments.

While working at Sionson, in 2002 Mr. Palacci and his family founded Esther's Fashions, a family-run women's clothing store with a staff of ten employees that he operated through 2008.

Since 2016, Sion has been the manager of the Independent Financial insurance brokerage firm, which he also founded. Acting as an independent broker, he advises clients on the health and life insurance policies that best suit their needs. Prior to becoming an independent broker, between 2007 and 2015 he worked as an agent of three well-stablished national insurance companies: The Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company, the Union Central Life Insurance Company, and the Ameritas Life Insurance Corp.
