A resident of Chicago, Illinois, attorney Stanley Stallworth is the managing partner of his self-named law firm. Stanley B. “Stan” Stallworth’s services as a lawyer range from commercial real estate to probating inheritances. He also handles litigation for white collar crimes, personal injury, and medical malpractice.
After earning his law degree at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, attorney Stanley B. “Stan” Stallworth joined the firm of Sidley Austin in Chicago. He focused on commercial real estate issues such as architectural planning, real property, landlord-tenant relationships, and construction financing. He was made partner in 1998, gaining experience in executive compensation and corporate governance, as well as co-chairing the firm’s diversity committee.
Mr. Stallworth has several interests outside his work as a lawyer. He is a real estate developer with assets of around $6.5 million. In addition, he sponsors exhibitions drawn from his 300-piece collection of works by African American artists, and owns a bed and breakfast in Evergreen, Alabama.
Admitted to the bar in Alabama, Illinois, and Wisconsin, Mr. Stallworth also holds leadership positions with the Southside Community Arts Center of Chicago, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, and the Conecuh County Alabama NAACP.
