HG is not morning sickness, morning sickness will not kill you HG will. Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) is a life threatening pregnancy condition that can kill mother and child. It causes numerous complications for mother and baby and many babies do not make it to a live birth! It causes life threatening dehydration and malnourishment in the mother due to chronic nonstop vomiting and nausea, moms are unable to hold down fluids or food! HG moms suffer debilitating fatigue and pain 24/7. Starr raises awareness to fight for a cause and a cure for this awful debilitating disease! Starr also suffer from CVS which is Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome I have suffer since I was young and as I got older CVS was bad I had a short remission happened after having HG it came back with a vengeance and I suffer each and every day now ! Living though Hyperemesis Gravidarum and now being reminded each day if I overdo it or I get stressed out or excited brings on a CVS attack that can last hours or days , I have so many lasting effects cause from HG and fight for other mothers to know they are not alone.
I am a firm believer in Alternative medicine to help a lot of pain issues that normal Prescription medication/ pharmaceutical just doesn't help! I truly believe in using prescription medication to help along with other Methods such as medical cannabis to help control chronic pain disorders or digestive chronic disorders. There a huge difference in using cannabis as medication then to just do it!
