As president of the Nashville and Eastern Railroad Corporation from 2016 to 2019, Stephen Drunsic oversaw daily operations at both the NERR and NWR shortline freight railroads, as well as three associated railroad-service entities in Tennessee. He previously worked for Manchester, Vermont’s Transportation Management Services for more than 10 years, first as a senior director and then as vice president of operations and finance. Earlier in his career, Stephen Drunsic worked in industries that range from fixed-income futures trading and investment banking to media production and marketing.

To augment his professional activities, Stephen Drunsic attended annual Railroad Day on the Hill events for well over a decade and spent 7 years on the Legislative Policy Committee of the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association. In his free time, Mr. Drunsic enjoys adventurous outdoor activities such as big mountain snowboarding and backcountry exploratory hiking. He is a devoted husband and the father of a 15-year-old son.
