Steve Kanzer brings over two decades of experience in biotechnology and pharmaceutical development to his position as chairman of Accredited Ventures. The New York-based investment banking firm focuses on the life sciences industry and invests in emerging technologies and licenses. In addition to his work at Accredited Ventures, Steve Kanzer holds membership with the American Bar Association and certification as a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Kanzer served as the principal executive of Adeona Pharmaceuticals earlier in his career, during which time he supported the company’s expansion into California. Prior to that, he held the role of general counsel for The Castle Group. A former colleague at the company later approached him with an offer to become the senior managing director of Paramount Capital Group, an investment banking entity for seeding and overseeing new biotech ventures.

Beyond his professional obligations, Steve Kanzer enjoys golfing, chess, tennis, and snowboarding. He also belongs to the Licensing Executive Society, and supports the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
