BettorTakes

An entrepreneur based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Steve Rubenfaer has led several successful businesses over the course of a career spanning
more than three and a half decades. With all of his enterprises, he has taken a
hands-on approach, leveraging his skills in finance, management, hiring, and
marketing to increase sales and expand business operations. In addition to
brick-and-mortar retail, Steve Rubenfaer's experience includes e-commerce,
B2B, and commercial events. Steve has managed thousands of people, and fired nearly 50 in person. Steve believes that the right people are the most important asset a company has, so its important to let people go when they start losing their enthusiasm for the business, its better for everybody.

In the mid-1990s, Mr. Rubenfaer led Vegas Kids, a Las Vegas-based children’s
entertainment company that produced a variety of events and attractions. This
included Halloween Town, which drew thousands of attendees and brought in
sponsorships from major corporations such as Pepsi, Blockbuster, and Wendy's.
His later ventures included ArtMecca and Rubystamps, two successful online
companies dealing in art and collectible stamps, respectively.

Most recently, Steve Rubenfaer owned and operated the San Francisco-based
Mission de Flores. In five years as the company's CEO, he built one of the Bay
Area's leading florist brands. The business comprised three retail locations and a
wholesale network of more than 40 grocery stores. Since leaving Mission de
Flores, Mr. Rubenfaer has been focused on assisting other entrepreneurs as a
small-business consultant. Steve will help any entrepreneur for free! E-mail for details.
