A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Steven Peter Kaminskas received a bachelor of arts in political science before joining IBM in Atlanta as a client representative. Steven Peter Kaminskas gained further experience moving away from the OEM world and joining a Value Added Reseller as an Account Executive with AVCOM Technologies in Vienna, Virginia, where, in a fully commission-based position, he increased revenue from $0 to $2.5 million in products and services over a 14 month span. Shortly thereafter he moved over to ConRes where he grew his book of business from $2.5 million to just under $16 million in 3 1/2 years. .
Subsequently, Mr. Kaminskas joined Symantac Corporation in 2006, starting out as a Sales Rep in the Commercial space. Then moving over to leverage his experience working in the Partner community to become a Partner Account Manager. After a year in that position Steve was moved into an Enterprise Sales position where is quickly established himself as one of the Top Reps on the team consistently over achieving his Sales Quota. With that success as a sales rep he was promoted to District Manager for commercial sales for New York and the Mid-Atlantic regions. He has also served as the Senior Manager of Enterprise Sales for Veritas Technology.
As District Sales Manager for Pure Storage since 2016, Mr. Kaminskas oversees sales throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. A former soccer player for VFL Wolfsburg in Germany , he maintains interest in the sport by playing competitively twice a week and coaching the Maryland FC U9 to U11 players. His hobbies also include boating on the Chesapeake Bay, playing basketball, and running.
