A graduate of the Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Steven Raheb currently serves as an Adjunct Professor of Biology and Human Sciences at Connecticut’s Quinebaug Valley Community College in Danielson. He is also closely involved with a number of community groups and organizations, including the American Legion and the Woodstock Agricultural Society, the latter of which he serves on the Board of Directors. Prior to taking on his current role of teacher, Dr. Steven Raheb served 25 years in the Day Kimball Hospital Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, where he spent the majority of this time as either Chairman or Vice Chairman of the department.

Dr. Raheb completed his medical training at the United States Naval Hospital in San Diego, California. Following his internship and residency, he spent several years as a medical officer and Chairman of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the US Naval Hospital, Cubi Point, in Subic Bay, Philippines. He earned several distinctions while serving in the military, including a Naval Achievement Medal, National Defense Medal, and the Overseas Service Medal.
