Respected venture capital and corporate litigation attorney Saura “Sunny” Sahu is a member of the Michigan and California bar associations. After graduating with high honors from the University of Michigan in political philosophy, Sunny Sahu enrolled in the university’s law school. Due to his commitment to promoting equity in the justice system, he was granted a Damon J. Keith Scholarship by the Wolverine Bar Association.
After earning his JD, Saura Sahu served as a judicial law clerk under the Hon. Julian Abele Cook, Jr., in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He subsequently joined the Maurice and Jane Sugar Law Center, a legal firm dedicated to supporting legal access to disenfranchised communities, as a staff attorney.
Following positions as an associate and principal for law firms in Los Angeles and Detroit, he founded the firm Clancy Advisors, named in honor of his grandfather. In addition to successfully representing clients involved in federal and financial disputes, Sunny Sahu is active with several professional associations.
Mr. Sahu previously presided over a local chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He also performs volunteer work through his affiliations with the Sons of the American Legion and the American Legion Riders.
