For nearly two decades, Suzanne DeWitt has provided corporate finance, tax advisory, and fiduciary services in Miami, Florida. Currently, she leads Valora, a consulting firm that specializes in cross-border tax planning for high-net-worth clients, institutions, and organizations. Under the direction of Suzanne DeWitt, Valora designs and implements complex holding structures based on the client’s global financial and non-financial assets while offering ongoing infrastructure support.
In addition to her work with Valora, Suzanne DeWitt leads her own law practice in Miami that focuses on matters related to international private banking and both domestic and international taxation. In this position, she draws upon training received while earning her JD and LLM at the University of Miami School of Law, where she was a member of the law review and several tax societies.
A member of the Tax Law Section of the Florida Bar Association, Suzanne DeWitt has authored numerous white papers, articles, and reports on topics such as corporate structuring, international tax legislation, and asset-protection strategies. Prior to her current work, she held senior positions with law firms and professional services firms such as Baker & McKenzie LLP and Deloitte & Touche.
