A certified teacher in the state of Colorado, Thomas Zak believes in the educational principles of working hard, working smart, and having fun. For the past 10 years, he has taught at Mead High School in Longmont, Colorado, in addition to coaching the school’s speech and debate team. Formerly a language arts and social studies teacher at Shrine of St. Anne’s School in Arvada, Thomas Zak oversaw research projects, initiated public service projects, and organized a school-wide Literacy Day. He also compiled 7th and 8th grade student poems into a published book.
In addition to his teaching career, Mr. Zak has authored humorous skits and short stories in the Zak Quarterly, where he served as editor-in-chief for 10 years. A member of the Screen Actor’s Guild, he has appeared in films such as Little Nikita and She’s Out of Control.
Mr. Zak holds a PhD in psychology from Southern California University, a master of arts in behavioral science from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a bachelor of arts in theater from California State University, Northridge.
