A graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, Tim Wenkel earned his bachelor's degree in secondary education with a focus on social studies and became a certified teacher. He went on to study theology and philosophy at St. Louis University and then earned his theology degree at Conception Seminary College. Now Tim Wenkel continues his studies working toward a master's degree in agency counseling at Lincoln University.
Alongside his studies, Tim Wenkel runs a franchise of Oxi Fresh Carpet Cleaning that he purchased in 2015. Since then, he has received one of the highest customer satisfaction ratings at 95 percent, surpassing the Oxi Fresh average ranking of 80 percent. He has also earned nominations for honors such as the 2019 Review Masters Award, which commends those committed to high quality service and ethical practices.
Previously, he taught at schools such as Hermann High School, Russellville High School, Bishop LeBlond High School, and Steelville High School. He also served several of these schools as an assistant or head basketball coach and earned honors such as District Coach of the Year.
