A proficient athlete from a young age, Timothy Stott ranked fourth in the USTA East Coast competition for juniors 12 and under. In the subsequent years, he received awards in a variety of sports from tennis to soccer and hockey. Now a finance executive in New Jersey, Timothy Stott still enjoys playing sports.
Professionally, Mr. Stott launched his career with PaineWebber in New York, where he quickly climbed the corporate ladder, becoming an equity liaison between floor brokers and position traders. Subsequently, after studying wine under Kevin Zraly at Windows of the World Wine School, he spent several years in Napa, California, as a sales manager for Cakebread Cellars Winery.
In 1997, Mr. Stott returned to the east coast as an equity sales trader with HSBC Bank. He then went on to work as a sales trader on the New York Stock Exchange and as a self-employed professional day trader. In 2012, he joined TDGTA, LLC, in Wyckoff, New Jersey, where he serves as chief executive officer.
Outside of work, Mr. Stott enjoys attending vintage car events. His favorite vintage vehicles include the 1967 Corvette Stingray, the 1966 Jaguar E Type, the 1962 A.C. Cobra, and the 1953 Allard J2X.
