A graduate of St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Tom Barrett is a senior at the University of Kansas and a player on the school Division I football team. Pursuing a bachelor of science in business, management, and leadership, and minoring in business analytics, Tom Barrett made the Big 12 commissioner’s and the athletic director’s honor rolls in 2018 and 2019. After he graduates from KU in spring 2021, Tom plans to pursue a career in management consulting.

Mr. Barrett balances his academic pursuits with membership in KU student organizations such as the Finance Club and the Consulting Club. Additionally, he worked as a business development intern at River SaaS Capital, where he helped the head of accounting to revise the company’s financial model. Most recently, he completed a sales internship at Park Place Technologies to gain experience generating sales prospects for account managers.

To give back to the community, Tom Barrett has volunteered charitable organizations including the Salvation Army, the Lawrence Humane Society, and the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence.
