The recipient of an MS in Administration from Central Michigan University, Torrey Thompson began his career as a U.S. Marine non-commissioned officer communications supervisor and embassy guard. He was responsible for supervising Marines in garrison as well as during field operations. He later performed as a manager with Masterson Personnel, where he was responsible for supervising more than 20 employees during arena conversions at Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After two years with the company, Torrey Thompson moved to Georgia, where he began working as a legal assistant with Atkins and Fife Law Firm and was soon after hired as operations manager of Georgia Bail Bonding Services.
Torrey Thompson worked six years with the Lawrenceville-based firm and managed accounting functions such as weekly audits and liability reports for two Metropolitan Atlanta bonding companies. He also recruited and trained new employees and led company-wide meetings.
Since September 2017, Mr. Thompson has worked as a general manager with Amerilife and Health Services, where he assists clients with savings strategies relating to retirement and healthcare. He holds membership with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 5255 and the Marine Embassy Guard Association. In his free time, he enjoys exercising, cooking, and reading.
