My name is Ann and my passion is helping others take control of their nutrition and fitness habits to make a positive change in their lives.
Born and raised on the west coast, after graduating high school in 2003, I became an ACE certified personal trainer and worked in several top fitness facilities for the next few years. In 2008, I graduated from the
University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Food & Nutritional Sciences. Looking for a change, I decided to take the plunge and move to Toronto, ON to start my career.
Over the next three years, I worked as a registered dietician at Mount Sinai hospital. It was there that I met my future husband and we welcomed our first child in 2011. Not wanting to go back to work full time after my maternity leave was completed, I made the decision to return to work part-time as a personal trainer at a local gym.
In 2015, our second child was born and we relocated to Sarnia, ON. I instantly fell in love with this beautiful, neighbourly and supportive community. I am so a grateful to be raising my family here. As I transitioned into the stay-at-home Mom role, I began freelance writing for online blogs and magazines on various health and fitness topics.
Although I loved being an at home Mom, I missed the connection of helping clients positively transform their lifestyle and reach goals that they never would have imagined possible. In 2016, I launched ‘Treadmill to
Fitness’ my personal, customizable program for better nutrition, weight loss, and fitness.
I love my job and still am an active freelance writer. It has been an interesting ten years both professionally and personally. Looking forward to seeing what the next ten bring!
