A native of Visalia, California, Troy Korsgaden has spent more than three and a half decades as a leader in the insurance industry. Working his way up from humble beginnings in 1983, he built a powerhouse agency along with his business partner Sharon Jansma, earning top agency honors from among 15,000 agents throughout the United States on two separate occasions. In addition to his work in the insurance industry, Troy Korsgaden is an accomplished author and has penned four different books on building small insurance businesses.

Given his success, Troy Korsgaden is an in-demand speaker who has traveled around the globe. He has given talks on many different topics, including Agency Building, marketing, systems, cross-selling, and how to build a business roadmap. Active in his industry, Mr. Korsgaden is involved with the General Agents and Managers Association (GAMA) and regularly takes part in its leadership and management program (LAMP), which is the organization’s top annual gathering where leaders meet to reinvigorate themselves for the work ahead of them.
