Georgetown University alumnus Vahe A. Dombalagian obtained a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from the school in 1995, and shortly after completed the CPA exam. After spending the first two years of his career as an analyst at Bear, Stearns & Co., Inc., Vahe A. Dombalagian joined Texas Pacific Group as an associate in 1997. He worked out of its offices in San Francisco and London, where he was responsible for reviewing investment opportunities and performing financial analysis.
Upon leaving Texas Pacific Group, Vahe A. Dombalagian enrolled at Harvard Business School and earned an MBA. He was subsequently hired as a vice president at Madison Dearborn Partners, LLC, in Chicago. He was later promoted to director and now serves as a managing director of the firm. His responsibilities include seeking out and meeting with prospective investors, performing financial analysis, and reviewing potentially attractive investments.
Outside his professional pursuits, Mr. Dombalagian is a lifelong fan of professional sports teams in Washington, D.C. These include the Washington Redskins (NFL), Washington Capitals (NHL), and Washington Wizards (NBA). He's also a fan of Major League Baseball's Baltimore Orioles.
