An alumnus of the Southern Methodist University, Walker Royall is a Dallas-based real estate professional who holds a bachelor of science in finance and real estate. Since serving as president of Briarwood Capital, Walker Royall has gained extensive real estate development expertise in the Dallas and Greater Texas market.

With the firm, Walker Royall is responsible for key decision making, such as choosing suppliers and hiring employees, while also managing the firm’s daily operations. In addition, he selects which markets to lead the company into or remove themselves from, based on potential investment growth.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, he is involved with the Episcopal School of Dallas Capital campaign, which looks to raise $17 million in funds for the school’s endowment. Serving as its co-chair, he has helped raise over $3 million to date while also serving on its Dads Partnership campaign.

When he is not occupied with work and philanthropic efforts, he enjoys boating, hiking, and skiing.
