Wayne Nordstrom is an experienced IT security engineer who most recently held a senior position with CVS Health, where he focused on the integrity of networks and applications across a global retail infrastructure. Among Wayne Nordstrom’s areas of focus was overseeing continual and current state risk assessments as part of integrated operational risk management. Through gap analyses, he was able to identify areas in which additional tooling and automation could expand security incident monitoring and resolution capacities.
Mr. Nordstrom also has experience with the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center
as a network and endpoint security engineer. In this role he provided direct support, such as clinical application server access, to more than 100,000 system users, including physicians and researchers. Among his accomplishments was installing, configuring, and maintaining server builds and Linux systems. His efforts significantly boosted application reliability and continuity across the Linux infrastructure.
Wayne Nordstrom earned an Associate's of Science degree in Cyber Security - Security Penetration Testing at Cape Cod Community College. Wayne Nordstrom is currently working toward his Bachelor's of Science degree in Cyber Security and Computer Science.
Mr. Nordstrom holds an impressive list of current IT Certifications including: Security+, Linux+, A+, Network+, PenTest+, MCP, MCTS, CCNA, with CEH and OSCP currently in progress.
