A security professional with over two decades of experience, Wayne Schepens has served as the managing director of LaunchTech Communications since 2015. In only two years, he achieved significant company growth, making LaunchTech the fastest-growing tech PR agency in the industry. Wayne Schepens has earned several SC Magazine awards for his clients and has become a notable speaker on topics of cyber security. He also provides mentorship as part of the support team for Mach 37.

Previously, Wayne Schepens spent four years as the vice president of Welz & Weisel Communications, later known as W2 Communications. Prior to accepting that position, he co-founded Soteria Network Technologies, guiding its growth from initial concept to its transition to a new management team. He also worked with the Naval Surface Warfare Center and the U.S. Military Academy.

Wayne Schepens earned his master's degree in civil engineering from Virginia Tech and his bachelor's degree from the State University of New York Maritime Academy. He donates to groups such as the American Heart Association, Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE), and Lady of the Fields Catholic Church.
