WestAfrica_Proud is bringing West Africa to the world. We want to bring West Africa's story to the world, whether in our people, in our culture, or in our politics. But we also want to celebrate those who are taking West Africa's story on the world stage, public or private figure, through their talents or other acts. Lastly, we want to celebrate and thank those who've come before and will come in bringing West Africa to the world. Even though we cover other contents, our premier contents are:

+ Heroes of West Africa - Our HWA are those who challenged the norm and exemplified the best of West Africa and brought West Africa's story to the world. Every Monday, we honor and celebrate those who have gone above and beyond for the region, whether they are past, present, or future heroes.

+ This Week in West Africa - Our premier brand on West Africa hot stories. Currently, our This Week in West Africa pulls feed from AllAfrica.com on stories and matters covering the region. We want all of our stories in one place, without having to go to multiple sites or look across different platforms or countries. Our goal is to inform the citizenry of West Africa and others of development in region.

We have big plans for our Heroes of West Africa and This Week in West Africa, and the whole platform itself. As we grow, we will look to implement some of them.
