William Tomasso is an established New Britain, Connecticut entrepreneur who guides the Tomasso Group and oversees affiliated enterprises such as TBI Construction Company and Tunxis Management Company. Starting as an estimator with the firm, William Tomasso worked his way to a position as President while providing full-service, multi-disciplined solutions spanning construction and property management, as well as real estate development.

Mr. Tomasso’s firm was established in 1923 and maintains a reputation for on-time and on-budget work in major infrastructure projects that included an Interstate 84 paving initiative and expansion of the first jet engine runway at Bradley International Airport. Mr. Tomasso and his team recently acquired approximately 80-acres of prime commercial land in Plainville and New Britain at the intersection of Route 72 with frontage on Interstate 84. The property is adjacent to the already high-traffic Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute at The Hospital of Central Connecticut and the Medical Arts Building.

William Tomasso maintains a strong community focus and is an active member of Saint Anne as well as, on the board of the Opportunity Industrialization Center in New Britain (OIC), which offers job training and career-mentoring to local area youth.
